मैं शतरंज बिछाता हूँ
ऐ जिंदगी
मैं शतरंज बिछाता हूँ
तू अपनी चाल चल
देख मैं खुद को कैसे बचाता हूँ
ठोकरें खा कर
अब संभलना आ गया
हुनर जीने का
अब मैं बताता हूँ
बे-वजह तुझसे डर के
भाग रहा था मैं
हौसला जीने का
अब मैं सिखाता हूँ
सामना कर
गुफ़्तगू कर मुझसे
पता मंजिल का
अब मैं बताता हूँ
अपनों के खंजर से
खुद को कैसे बचाता हूँ
आ गया जीने का सलीका
आ बैठ आज सब बताता हूँ
ऐ जिंदगी
मैं शतरंज बिछाता हूँ
तू अपनी चाल चल
देख मैं खुद को कैसे बचाता हूँ
