इश्क कर के मोहब्बत को समझते रहे
सफ़र-ए-जिंदगी के रास्ते कटते रहे
याद आती है उन लम्हों की आज भी
जब देखा था तुम्हें तो बस तकते रहे
ग़ज़ब का जादू है तेरी मुस्कराहट में
इसका मतलब क्या है उम्र भर समझते रहे
दिल ना जाने कब तुमसे बातें करने लगा
और हम तो खुद में ही खुद से उलझते रहे
क्या खूब निकली है जिंदगी तेरे तसब्बुर में जाना
हर पल को बरस और बरस को सदियाँ समझते रहे
अब ना शिकवा है ना शिकायत है तुमसे
इतने दिनों जो तुम मेरे ख़्वाबों में सवरतें रहे
इश्क कर के मोहब्बत को समझते रहे
सफ़र-ए-जिंदगी के रास्ते कटते रहे
