तुम्हारे दिल का हाल

आज तुम्हे ही बताते है

 

रुके जो अल्फ़ाज़ दिल में है

वो जुबां पर नहीं आते है

 

इश्क तो है आसमां जितना

पर मिलते हो तो छुपाते हो

 

और मजाल है

जो किसी को फिर बताते हो

 

बांध रखा है ख़ुद को

ज़माने की हदों में

 

की ख़ुद से ही 

ख़ुद का प्यार छुपाते हो 

 

सामने कभी कुछ कहते नहीं

बस तस्वीरों में खूब मुस्कुराते हो

 

उलझे रहते हो रोज़मर्रा की उलझनों में

फ़ुरसत भी हो तो कहां बतियाते हो

 

और सलीका प्यार का लाजवाब है तुम्हारा

इतना कहने पर भी कुछ नहीं बताते हो

 

अपने मासूम दिल को तुम 

क्यों इतना सताते हो

 

सब मालूम है हमे

तुम न भी बताओ तो समझ जाते है

 

अजब है गजब है ये तुम्हारी कहानी

बुला के ख़ुद को अकेले में हर रोज़ सुनाते है

 

तुम्हारे दिल का हाल

आज तुम्हे ही बताते है
